👻 Souls
Souls are a central concept of the Fluxverse. They are the conscious and feeling part of the universe. Every living feeling conscious being has a soul.
Souls are a very special and complex construction of Flux. Generally we differentiate between 3 types of souls, based on its Flux components.

Mortals
By far the most common soul type. Mortal souls bind themselves to physical bodies, aided by the divines of life. In this body, they grow and experience life. These memories are absorbed into the soul over the course of its life.
When the body eventually gives in, the soul frees itself from the body and is taken by the divines of death into the Soul Resort. There the soul can regenerate and cleanse itself from the chaotic nature of life.
When the soul is ready to return, the divines of life bind the soul to a new born body in the stellar plane, restarting the circle of life. While souls do not remember consciously their previous lives, they do slowly change and adapt over the cycles. Each life being just a tiny bit different than the previous.
Divines
The Divines are the god-like creatures which act as the caretakers of the universe. At the beginning of the universe, the 3 Primals were born from an egg. How they exactly formed is a mystery, even to themselves. They do not possess a physical body, instead they are just extremely complex and incredibly high density souls, giving them pseudo-physical properties. While they are not omni-potent or anything like that, they are the most powerful creatures in the universe.
The 3 Primals then took parts of themselves to create the other divines to help take care of the universe. First the 8 Cores, then the millions of Auxilliaries. Creating just more divine souls.
Titans
Titans are the most powerful being in the universe after the Divines. They are often gigantic beings, starting at around three meters to reaching sizes thousands of meters, who lived for millions of years. This makes them rare, but powerful. Most of them are resting and are only a limited threat to Anthrokind. However, they shouldn't be provoked. There is a reason, some of them have names like "The Eater of Worlds". It's not entirely clear how these beings can even exist, but Flux seems to be related to this.
Speaking in terms of the Fluxverse, Titans are basically tiny Divines. Over the course of time, sometimes Flux collapses into a very dense form. With the right conditions and just a bit of luck, that Flux can form a low complexity soul. This births a living creature with quite a lot of power.
😺 Anthrokind
After humans became extinct, new creatures emerged to take over the world. A character's species will give them a general look, body features, special abilities, and cultural background.
These species are collectively referred to as Anthrokind, are the dominating races on Nuak. They are humanoid animal creatures, with intelligence equivalent to humans and are found all over the planet.
🧬 Biology
All species are humanoid with animalistic and magical features. Their mental capabilities are similar to humans.
Additionally, all kinds are compatible with each other for the purpose of reproduction and lay eggs. However, the mother always fully passes on the species, the father has no influence here. Other traits such as pigments or size can be passed on as normal from both parents.
🛖 Society
All of these species, and more not mentioned here, are living together on the Nuak. While they tend to be more common in certain regions and islands, they are usually mixed a lot.
Due to the harsh conditions of the planet and the constant threat of monsters and malicious groups, the kinds are mostly living in peace with each other.
While most groups of people have adopted the Nonagonocracy today, some traditions of past ways of the species might still linger on. In some rare occasions, groups might still fully life in these ways.
