💖 Flux Hearts
Flux Hearts are very rare artifacts, which are conjured into existence only in special conditions. These are used to power up characters and further improve their abilities.
Finding Hearts
When adventurers complete special tasks, defeat powerful foes, or explore hidden locations, their new experiences might manifest as a Flux Heart. The type of the Heart is often linked to the nature of the challenge overcome.
Flux Hearts are immediately absorbed by the characters and are not transferable between characters.
Flux Affinity
When you gain a Heart of your Flux Affinity, you automatically gain another Heart of your choice.
Note that if you have multiple Flux Affinities, only your primary / first Affinity will grant that bonus.
Type of Hearts
Flux Hearts come in 6 varieties, one of each Flux Type. Each type has a different use case.
🔥 Ivris Heart
Ivris grants greater potential when welding weapons.
1 Heart increases your Weapon Potential for all weapons by 1.
Weapon upgrades use a certain amount of Weapon Potential to function, but can provide increased damage, accuracy, special effects and more.
These upgrades can be found, bought or crafted during your adventure.
If your total required potential by all upgrades goes beyond your current potential, they will not function.
💧 Wava Heart
Wava grants higher potential for wearing armor.
1 Heart increases your Armor Potential by 1.
Armor and accessories use a certain amount of Armor Potential to function, but can provide better defense and additional effects.
These upgrades can be found, bought or crafted during your adventure.
If your total required potential by all upgrades goes beyond your current potential, they will not function.
⚡ Voltik Heart
Voltik grants expanded fluxical shielding by increasing your maximum FHP.
1 Heart equals +5 maximum FHP
🌱 Fenil Heart
Fenil grants stronger physical sturdiness by increasing your maximum HP.
1 Heart equals +10 maximum HP
🌑 Nirum Heart
Nirum grants vaster usage of experiences and learnings, by increasing your Attributes, where:
1 Heart equals +2 Attribute Points
🌟 Lumir Heart
Lumir grants elevated power in Fluxmancing.
1 Heart equals either +1 Fluxmancing Potential or +1 Fluxmancing Slot.
Additional Potential allows you to power up existing Fluxmancing recipes with new constructs or more expensive, while additional Slots allow you to lean or create entirely new recipes.
🌈 Focus Enhancement
As you collect Flux Hearts, your connection to the Flux deepens.
Every time you collect a full set of Flux Hearts (one of each type), your total Focus increases by 1.
For this, increase your Wild Focus by 1. But for every 4th set (4, 8, 12, ...), increase your Affinity Focus by 1 instead.
In other words: Your Affinity Focus should always be 1/4 of your total Focus, rounded down.
