The deities are powerful entities who watch over the world of Fluxterra. Every character will choose one of them as their guardian, who will aid them in life.

Divine Powers​

Every deity has a special Divine Power, which allows you to exchange special effects for your HP.

Divine Gifts​

Divine Gifts are an extremely powerful effects provided by the deity in situations of great need. To activate it, the character needs to charge their Divine Charge.

For every Crit or Slip, the character will receive 1 Divine Charge. Wounds also provide Divine Charge. Additional charge may be granted by the GM for heroic play. A character can store up to 12 charges.

To activate the gift, the character needs to spend 9 charges and pray to their god or goddess for help. Other characters may also chime in with their points to help reach the total. The GM needs to then explain what happens.

Mechanically speaking, a character needs to define what action he wants help with. This action must be theoretically feasible for the character, impossible actions cannot succeed even with divine gifts. It acts like a "super critical success".

In addition, divines will never bring the party further towards their goal, only help them in achieving that progress. They simply don't see them worthy of help, if they want to take the easy way out.

Each god and goddess has their own way of helping which can come in handy in different situations. Below is a simple explanation what the powers of each divine entity is.
